(More customer reviews)I am an elementary music teacher and I love this book! My students get to explore many different cultures. I love how Mr. Burrows has mixed in elements of the culture into the songs. An example is one of the Japanese pieces he uses Japanese city names to help the kids play their parts correctly. We then get to talk about and study a map of Japan looking for the cities. I have performed pieces from this book on programs and the audiences look them. I still have kids coming up and asking to play one piece that was played 3 years ago.
Great Book! Really kid friendly! I highly recommend it.
