From my perspective, this is a book on women's leadership in life. This is a brave book that is written by a woman whose goal is to "create social change which will transform power imbalances." It is written with wisdom and compassion from the trenches; the voice of first-hand experience.
I have a tremendous appreciation for the written word. One of the first things that struck me about "Leading Raspberry Jam Visions Women's Way - An Inside Track for Women Leaders" is that it is written from an action -- rather than descriptive -- perspective. Enticing verbs that jump off the page include collaboration, appreciation, rigorous practice, accountability, give and take, living purposefully, work on creating, take the lead, and lean into the winds of resistance.
With clarity at the helm, this book helps women leaders to navigate with tangible and measurable action steps. Terrill Welch does not merely set goals. Rather, she provides a concrete formula to follow. The central principle of the book -- dare to be audacious enough to state what you really want, and then find the support to help you broaden the idea and make it a reality. I came away understanding that successful women's leadership is a process, not a product. The author's straight-forward language and encouragement -- with an emphasis on divergent thinking -- are far and away worthwhile!

No one is coming anymore, and the rides are boring! So the boss of the Martians sends them to Bugs Bunny's world. The Martians landed down and said that the toons are now prisoners to the Martian world. They are going to be a new attraction to their theme park. Now Bugs saw that the Martians are very Dumb. So he says that they have to let them have a chance to defend themselves. So Bugs said, if they win in a basketball game, Bugs and the other tunes don't have to be there slaves. The Martians agreed to the offer and started to practice.
Later in the human world, Michael Jordon was in the middle of a golf game. It was his turn to go, so he hit and the ball stopped for a moment, halfway down the hill. Then, for some strange reason the ball started to roll again, and the ball went straight in the hole. Since this was his first time, his annoying friend wanted to take a picture of him pulling out the golf ball. When the picture snapped, Michael Jordon disappeared. Well, Michael really didn't dissapear, he just got sucked down into the cartoon world by Bugs Bunny. Then the cartoons asked Michael to help them in the Basketball game. Michael accepted and started to practice. Finally the big day came but the Martians weren't themselves. They were huge, they were the "Monstars". It was very hard to compete with them, then they finally beat them. It was very hard, but they finally slipped away. If you want to find out what happens next read the cool book Space Jam.

It is filled with good and interesting information, and overflowing with unique pictures of live performances. Although written early-on in their career, this 34 page must-have is worth looking into if you are a hardcore fan. Also includes large poster (but it's only of Eddie, not the whole group).
