This book is a real gem, a labor of love, packed with a wealth of information and recipes for diverse products, from cold sweet sauces to hot savory sauces, to preserves, jams, picallilly, ketchup, chutneys everything is here. No other book that I know has so many recipes and so much information on this subject. Some books have a bigger layout, less recipes and a higher price. Some others have nothing more than the higher price. This book is characterised by attention to the recipes and methods and quality of content. Every method is shown in step by step photos, all products have at least one photo depicting them, the explanations are clear and the recipes are tasty and easy, even if some are time consuming(do you want everything done at the clip of the fingers?). To sum up, if you like preserving, or want to try your hand at it this book will satisfy you.
