(More customer reviews)Honestly, once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. It is one of those rare books that flows so smoothly and easily that you just don't want to stop reading.
If you love rock n roll (and who doesn't?#, or have ever been in a band or dreamed of being in a band, you will be fascinated by the first-hand details of the inner-workings of one of the biggest and most respected bands to come out of the late 70's and 80's.
Having been a huge fan of the band, it was like living that time over again and seeing a whole different side of it besides the fame and fortune and seemingly non-stop party of it all. What seperates those who make it #and make a living at it) and those who don't is not purely being a virtuoso at your instrument; but rather a whole combination of things starting with hard work, drive and TEAMWORK. All of the same things that are necessary to running a successful business--whatever business it may be.
Being both a wanna-be-rocker and a fairly successful business owner myself, I have never come across a book that ties together all the things I love in such an interesting and entertaining way. And Jeff throws in a few one-liners that had me laughing out loud.
Buy the book, sit down in a comfy chair and get reading......you will be glad you did!
