(More customer reviews)I recently received this book as a gift and have not had a chance to try any recipes yet. However, I wanted to point out that this book gives directions for sealing jars with wax plugs and not the ring/lid/mason jar (in a boiling water bath) method currently recommended for preserving jams. Many of the recipes look similar to ones I have seen in other books so it may be ok to can them using a water bath canner, but some recipes may need to be checked out further (can passionfruit or melon be safely canned in a water bath?).
